More to Use Than the Brain to Find God

(Heb 11:6)  But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.  This verse plainly states how a person will find God.  We must, (1) believe that God is and (2) and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.  The first degree of faith given in this verse is that one must believe that God truly exists.  However another degree of faith is described in the second statement.  This second degree says those who are rewarded from God are those who diligently seek Him.  Therefore, to find God more is required than a mental acknowledgement that God exists or that Christ is resurrected.  The diligent will find God.

(Rom 10:12-14)  For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. {13} For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. {14} How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed?  These verses teach when the Lord makes a person rich.  We must, (1) believe that He exists and (2) call upon Him.  Therefore, to be made rich by God, more is required than making a mental acknowledgement that God exists or that Jesus is His Son.  If one does not call on God, he will not find Him.  (Rom 10:10)  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness.  The Word of God teaches us that believing unto righteousness is done with the heart and not the mind.

Diligently search for God, calling upon Him from the heart, to find the true salvation of the soul.

Let’s be careful to rightly divide the word of truth.
